- What does B&B (Bed and Breakfast) mean?
Homestay with breakfast included. In general, the household is done on a daily basis and is included in the price.

- What does « Agritourism » mean ?
Agritourism is mostly defined as tourism in rural area. It refers specifically to farm stays.

- What does « guests table « mean ?
In this context, the owner proposes regular meals, served at the property with local products.

- What does « apartment » mean ?
These are independent units belonging to a property. Generally these apartments share a common swimming pool.

- What does « Villa » mean ?
These are exclusive and charming houses fully independent with private pool.

- What types of housing are proposed by Dolce Vita ?
We always offer accommodations in a rural environment. Rooms with breakfast included, apartments and villas.

- Will house linen be provided?
Household linen (sheets and blankets) and towels are always provided.

- Is final cleaning is included?
The final cleaning is generally included, unless otherwise specified.

- Is consumption of gas, electricity and water are included in the price ?
Consumption of gas, electricity and water is usually included. Please note that some addresses charge for the use of air conditioning. This information is usually specified.

- What about heating ?
The fuel cost being prohibitive, the majority of addresses may charges to tenants the cost of heating according to consumption. This information is usually specified.

- What is your advice regarding the use of heating?
For stays in Autumn or Winter, we advise to choice for a “bed & breakfast” type of accommodation where the heating is included in the price.

- What does « Ground Floor » mean ?
All accommodation whose entrance is on the ground floor; which does not mean that housing is on the ground floor.

- Do accommodations on the 1st floor have an outdoor space?
Yes, usually the owners always provide an outdoor area. They are aware of the importance of being able to eat outside in summer.

- How do Dolce Vita select its addresses ?
Each address has been carefully selected and his revisited every year.

- What are Dolce Vita selection criteria ?

The quality of hospitality, the comfort level, the quality of indoor and outdoor spaces, but also the proximity of tourist attractions and the quality / price ratio.

- Do the addresses have similarities in other proposed geographies ?
Yes, the criteria remain the same, but each region has its own charm and specificities.

- After asking a question on the Dolce Vita website (by email or by chat), how long does it take to receive an answer ?
We are doing our very best to answer any query as soon as possible, ideally during the same day or in the morning the next day.

- I would like to be called. When will I be called ?
We will allways call you during business hours. In your communication with Dolce vita website, please indicate a number to reach you.

- Do I need to have a username and password to use my basket?
Yes, this guarantees the privacy of your data. Moreover, it allows us to respond more easily to our customers questions.

- I have my username forgotten. What shall I do ?

- I have forgotten my password. What shall I do ?
Please request it per email. You will get it straight ahead.

- What does « availability upon request » mean ?
These are addresses whose availability are not up-to-date. We have to send to the owner a availability request. The delay is usually 24 hours.

- Is Dolce Vita payment secured ?
Yes, all payment transactions are made through Ogone, the leader in securing internet transactions.

- What is a Voucher ?
This is the document certifying the validity of your booking. It contains the receipt of your payment, the access route and other key information for your stay.

- The down payment is 60% of the total amount. When do we need to pay the remaining amount ?
In most cases, the remaining amount has to be paid to the owner when arriving. Some exceptions occur when the owner prefers Dolce Vita to receive the full payment beforehand.

- Is the down payment always 60% of the total amount ?
No, for any booking made 5 months prior the departure date, a reduced down payment of 30% of total amount will be requested. A second down payment of 30% will then be requested a few months after.

- I decide to make a bank transfer. What happens next ?
We will maintain your booking. Upon receipt of your payment we will send you the voucher.

- I decide to pay using a credit card. Will I receive my voucher immediately ?
No. We first need to obtain the final approval from the owner. Upon receipt of the owner’s approval we will issue your voucher and send it to you by email. Until no approval has been made by the owner, no amount will be deducted from your credit card.
